September

Standard

September

September is new shoes, and back to school.

Grapes are plumping, apples turn red.

Nuts are browning. It’s early to bed.

Squirrels are storing their nuts away.

Days are short; there’s less time to play.

Autumn’s here.  The summer’s gone.

Better put your sweater on.
