Since relocating to Toronto 5 years ago, I have never been let down by the endless supply of family fun things to do. Whether you are in the East End or the West, the Beaches or Scarborough, the GTA has lots of great outings and events for the family to enjoy.
- Free Pooch Pics with Santa. Dogs are man’s best friend and even they deserve to get their holiday wishes heard by Santa. Tomorrow, November 30th, the Holiday Studio at 25 Karl Fraser Road will be taking photos of Santa and your pooch from 1 – 4 pm. And as if it couldn’t get any better, the photos will be emailed to you free of charge and your dog will receive a free treat!
- Karma Yoga. On December 1st, come by the Shops at Don Mills where people of all ages can bring their mats for free yoga sessions and a few moments to relax during this stressful time of year from 9:30 – 10:30 for FREE!
- Markham Santa Claus Parade. You cannot kick off the holiday season without seeing a holiday parade. November 30th from 11-12, people of all ages will line up from Hwy 7 to 16th Ave to witness the 41st Annual Markham Santa Claus Parade.
- Santa Experience at Sherway Gardens. Everyone gets their photos done with Santa, but what if you could have sing-a-longs, stories and play with the big man in red? For only $12 per child (tickets not required for accompanying parents), your little ones get 30 minutes of pure holiday fun with Santa at Sherway Gardens.
